It’s not always good to see your logo in the media

The State Emergency Response Team logo

The State Emergency Response Team of Florida home page on August 24, 2012, as hurricane Isaac makes a bee line for Florida. Every year about this time I have mixed feelings as I see State Emergency Response Team (SERT) logo plastered all over local weather reports and the Weather Channel, and every other media outlet covering hurricanes. On one hand it’s great to see your work out in the “real world” and it is working as designed — but in this case it always means bad news for the state of Florida.
